Tuesday Jan 17 6 to 9 pm Saturday Feb 4 12:30 to 4 pm Saturday Feb 18 12:30 to 4 pm Saturday Mar 3 12:30 to 4 pm
New players are required to register in person to show proof of residency, player’s care card and birth certificate, and receive a free lacrosse stick and ball. We will only accept cash or credit card in person. No checks will be accepted. Returning players can register in person if wishing to pay by cash rather than credit card online. Our online registration system is very safe. We have not had any credit card issues in the 2 years we’ve been using it. Jersey deposits will not be collected by the registrar or mailed in this season. Jersey deposit checks will be collected by managers when teams are formed. We are now charging a $25 try out fee for Novice, PeeWee, Bantam and Midget BOYS wanting to try out for rep teams. This fee is being charged to cover the cost of rental floor time for earlier tryouts this season. We now have a 3 tier fee schedule. From now until February 15 is the “early bird fee”, from February 15 to March 1st is the “regular fee”. Any time after March 1st you will be charged the “late fee”. Please register early to get the EARLY BIRD fee! There will be no exceptions to these fee times. If your child is an out of district player (doesn't live in Burnaby more than 50% of the time) and is NOT grandfathered (played at least 2 consecutive years with Burnaby Lacrosse) please do NOT register online. Non grandfathered players must first register with their home association and request a release through them. The release is then sent to the LMMLC commissioner by you or your home association. Only if it is decided by the commissioner and an official approval is sent to myself can a player register in Burnaby. Girls are now being grandfathered. If you are not sure if your daughter is grandfathered, please email me before registering online so I can verify her status. If you are not sure if your child is grandfathered please send me an email and I will confirm this for you. When registration for this season is complete I will make up new email distribution lists by division. Therefore if you are not registering your child(ren) this year you will be removed from my distribution list in March 2012 and there's no need to ask to be removed. If you have any lacrosse equipment you’d like to donate for our needy families, please drop off at my door at 4607 Irmin St, South Burnaby. Thank you in advance! If you have any questions or concerns please don't hesitate to contact me. Cheers, Susan Kirkby BMLC Registrar
