Congratulations to Novice #2
Congratulations to the Novice Int. #2 team who took GOLD in the Coquitlam Adanac Cup for the 2nd year in a row over the May long weekend. The team finished with GF/GA of 34-14 and a 5-0 record. For those that missed the Gold game, it was a true nail-biter. Coquitlam tied the game with 0.38 seconds left in the third period. The boys were so determined to win this game, they got the ball up to the Coquitlam end and the winning goal was scored at 0.13 seconds remaining in the third. We would like to thank all grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, siblings and friends who came out and helped rock the Coquitlam Sports Centre to our win. Our next stop is the Bellie Bowl in New Westminster June 11-13. GO LAKERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations Midget B2!

Burnaby's Midget B2 team won Gold in the Thunder in the Valley Tournament in Merritt over the May 14-16 weekend.

Coach Trevor Johnson says, "The boys all played with great heart. With such a short bench, the wins were as much a matter of determination and grit as the boys' strong lacrosse skills."

Scoring was led by Mike Bitzer, AJ Cosco, Riley Mah and Quinn Johnson with Jordan Moniz, Matt Dong, Tyron Stojanov, and Trevor Baldrey chipping in. Assisting the scorers and providing strong defence were Mitchell Daunais, Alberto Ghisi, William Leung and Anthony DiPietro. Kevin Joyal-Hutchins was solid in goal especially in the final game, letting in only two goals while facing a strong Langley team. The final score was 4 to 2.

Door Personnel Module & Test for Box Lacrosse

New this year is that all Door Personnel during games, either exhibition, regular season, or play-offs must complete an on-line certification module & test which is located at the following link;

Existing certified coaches do not need to do this extra component as it is already covered during the NCCP course, but they must ensure that their NCCP number is recorded on the gamesheet. Thank you.
