Registration Information
Registration for the 2024 box lacrosse season will open on December 1, 2023.
Early Bird pricing will be in effect until January 21st at 11:59PM. New players to BMLC always pay the early bird rate!
Registrations fees after January 21st at 11:59PM will be increased by $40, no exceptions.
Multiple Players

If your family is registering more than 1 player, please register them together and be billed one amount rather than separately. Choose "Register another player" before entering in the mother/father/guardian information during the process to receive one statement.

Multiple player discount

If your family is registering more than 2 players, each additional child will receive a $100 family rate discount. Be sure to register them using "register another player" so the discount is calculated online and no refund is necessary.
Goalie Discount

Full time goalies in U9 and up pay only $60.

Applicants must contact the Registrar prior to registration in order to confirm availability of a full-time goalie position in their respective division and for instructions on how to register.
Tryout Fees

Youth interested in trying out for an 'A' team in a Male Division (U11, U13, U15 or U17) will have an option to select that during the registration process. The fee is $40.00 to attend tryouts and will be added to your registration fee.
Financial Assistance

For families requiring financial assistance please go to Kidsport Burnaby or Jumpstart websites. If you apply for either assistance you must show proof to the registrar that you have applied before registering. Kidsport and Jumpstart both require tax returns for proof of household annual income.

Tyke Girls
If we get enough girls registered in the Tyke Female division, we will put together a girls only team. When registering please register under Tyke Female if you would like to be on the “all girls” team, or Tyke if you want to be on a mixed boys and girls team.
LACROSSE AFTER MINOR
The next level after Minor Lacrosse is Junior Lacrosse for males and Senior Women's Box Lacrosse for females. Junior Lacrosse consists of five-year program with three tiers: Junior A, B1, and B2. Tryouts are required for each level, and players can opt for B1/B2 without trying out for A. Junior A practices twice a week, while B1 and B2 practice once a week. Junior A team travels for games and a per diem is provided for food. There is a fee to play, but sponsorship can cover the cost. Team shorts, dry fits, golf shirts, and jerseys are provided. The Senior Women's Box Lacrosse league can be inquired about on their website. Please contact Brad Hara with any questions and to be placed on any of the three Junior try out lists.
For those females looking to continue playing box lacrosse after graduating from Junior Girls there is Senior Women's Box Lacrosse. You can reach out to the executive by visiting their website to inquire about what team is looking for players in that league
