The Jack Crosby Lacrosse Tournament is an annual event held in Burnaby, BC that brings together lacrosse players from across BC to compete in a fun and exciting tournament. This tournament is named after Jack Crosby, a legendary figure in British Columbia's lacrosse community who made significant contributions to the sport as both a player, coach and builder.

The tournament takes place over 4 days and includes U11 Novice aged players in A1, A2 and B divisions. Participants have the opportunity to showcase their skills, connect with other players, and enjoy the camaraderie and spirit of lacrosse.

Overall, the Jack Crosby Lacrosse Tournament is an important event in British Columbia's lacrosse community, honoring the legacy of a beloved figure and celebrating the passion and dedication of players and fans of the sport.

The 2024 Jack Crosby U11 All Star Tournament is honouring and remembering Burnaby Laker, Ryan Nagy.

“RN” has been placed on the helmet in the 2024 Jack Crosby Logo in his memory.

Ryan began his career as a Burnaby Laker in 2011 in the U9 division and played as a Laker until his graduating year of minor lacrosse in 2019. Ryan’s box lacrosse teams were very successful including Provincial wins in 2016 U15 A2 Gold, 2017 U15 A1 Gold and 2019 U17 A1 Bronze.

Ryan played in the Jack Crosby U11 All Star Tournament in 2013 and was chosen as the Team All Star.

Ryan also participated in several other lacrosse programs including the Burnaby Devils Field Lacrosse Club, Burnaby Mountain Selects, Seattle Stars Elite, and a year of Junior B Laker Lacrosse after Covid restrictions permitted play in 2021. Ryan was also a BC Games Gold medal winner for field lacrosse in 2018, along with several of his Burnaby teammates.

The Nagy family has been active volunteers with the Burnaby Lakers, participating for several years in club operations and as part of the BMLC annual Jack Crosby U11 All Star Tournament.

In loving memory of Ryan Nagy November 3, 2003 - June 29, 2023
