Financial Assistance

At Burnaby Minor Lacrosse Club,  we believe that every child should have the opportunity to participate in organized sports, regardless of their financial situation. We believe that the benefits of participating in team sports far outweigh the costs.

For families requiring financial assistance please go to Kidsport Burnaby or Jumpstart websites. If you apply for either assistance you must show proof to the registrar that you have applied before registering. Kidsport and Jumpstart both require tax returns for proof of household annual income.

KidSport Funding

We provide grants to help cover the costs of registration fees so that all kids aged 18 and under in Burnaby can play a season of sport.

​

Our chapter accepts applications and administers grants of up to $300 per kid per calendar year. The kids must reside in the city of Burnaby. If you live outside of Burnaby please contact the Provincial Office to find your nearest chapter, or to get support through the Provincial Fund.

Sometimes, families need financial assistance to get their kids into a sport or physical activity. We're committed to helping all families access a range of activities, from boxing to bowling and skating to skiing, and more.
